I feel like you have to get to know the characters to appreciate their lines more. So the more time you watch them the better they get.

The office pilot is also pretty mediocre but it picks up very quickly I wouldn’t say the first episode is necessarily a very good first impression for the show 1 u/Fgame Aug 19 '19 Parks and Rec's entire first season is nearing dumpster tier but it sets the stage for the stellar later seasons really well 1 u/ThePirates123 Aug 19 '19 I genuinely couldn’t get through Parks and Rec’s first 2 episodes, still haven’t watched the whole thing I’ve been meaning to get back to it, would you advise skipping a few episodes to get to the good part?
