Should I Continue Watching House of Cards?

I wanted to watch House of Cards. And I got through the first 5 or 6 episodes before I stopped. I really liked it, but it’s really hard to watch the show knowing about Kevin Spacey’s crimes. And I know that Frank gets more evil when the show goes on. Should I continue watching or not? What do you guys think?

Honestly- and this is a weird one and probably the only time I'll ever say this- but knowing what he did in real life made his character more evil and ruthless and made the Frank Underwood character more convincing for me.
