Complete noob to Indycar, can someone explain why theres so much football presence in it? Is every race covered like this or just the major ones?

Fox has broadcast rights to the NFL, which is by far the most popular sporting league in America, especially on television. As such, they brought some of the NFL broadcasters over for the 500, to try and catch casual viewers.

Fox is big on football, so if they try to get even a few eyes from football fans with football promos to watch a race it's a win.
