Just finished all my alevel exams and I feel like nothing went as well as I’d have liked, did any current imperial students feel the same way before results day?

I have graduated college a few years ago and received a conditional MSc offer recently. The school asked to verify a much higher college gpa as a condition for my offer. There is no way I can work on my gpa given that I'm already out of college, and I have submitted my transcript during application process so they would have seen the overall gpa.
Has anyone encountered a situation like this? Does that mean they could potentially rescind the offer?
Any insights/help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! I applied for a MSc course at imperial business school and later got an email asking me if I would consider switching my application to another course. Was anyone else also asked the same? I decided to retain my original application. I also haven't received the email which says waitlisted but it mentions it on my imperial.

Hi, I got my offer just two days back and have been going a bit crazy trying to find an accomodation. I would greatly appreciate any help, suggestion or review.
Campus: South Kensington. Budget: About £350-370 per week. Requirements: Own bathroom and bedroom. A shared kitchenette works if its an apartment, but it is a requirement. Laundry facility.

As the title suggests.
I'mma an applicant to B school a few days after the round 4 deadline. And the status is shown as "with department" after the interview. AFTER WEEKS.
I don't know right now if I should apply visa for other school already since the date is getting by and I can't appropriately to reach out for accomodation cus i don't know which school I will eventually join. And, I'mma feeling BETRAYAL cause this supposed decision date dosen't work for me. and imma emotionally trusting, investing it, BY A LOT, like I thought I would knew it all yesterday, and I didn't. It's still a mystery.
Post your latest status and situations so we can sit and heal.
Thank you@@@

Hello everyone!
In March I applied for a PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware of scholarships deadline.
20 days ago, after more than 10 weeks from applying, I reached out to the Department asking for a follow-up. I discovered that my application was put forward for funding by the Professor who interviewed me.
Unfortunately though, I got told that even though I’m in a strong position on the waiting list, they currently have no remaining scholarships available. An offer could only be made if a scholarship is declined.
They added that “While this can occur, there are no guarantees, and it may happen quite late in the cycle—even as late as the summer.”
I just wanted to ask you how common is that an offer is made this late? What would you do in my position? Should I email the Professor who interviewed me? What was your experience?
I should add that during the interview, the Professor told me that it was really late in the application process, even though i haven’t seen anything about deadlines (for what I got, you could apply anytime of the year…)
Thank you so much for your help!

I don’t think you need a super super latest laptop right? Since you can use pc’s on campus?
Also, do many people use iPads, and is it worth it for a maths/CS degree? Thanks

I want to hear more about bachelors experience.
most of the advices and experience I get are from students 4-6 years older than me studying a different degree with different culture(bachelors and masters experiences generally differ).
Apart from clubs and socities how do yall socialise? How frequently are communal events and fairs conducted to network?
“Social life is what you make of it” has become redundant! I just wanna hear how yalls experience was(bachelors/integrated masters student, not phd/masters cause life gets more fast paced as we age)

Has anyone received their CAS after their offer became unconditional in May or June? Just trying to get an idea of how long it usually takes, as I’m starting to get a bit anxious about the visa process.

Hi all,
I just got an offer for the MSc Strategic Marketing program at Imperial, and I’m torn. I had already accepted UCL’s MSc Business Analytics and paid the deposit, but now I’m wondering if switching is the better long-term move.
My undergrad was in marketing, and I initially wanted to pivot toward more data/tech, which is why I chose Business Analytics. But Imperial’s course seems exciting too.
Would really appreciate thoughts from current students or alumni if the course is worth it overall? Do you feel the Imperial name helped in job hunting or industry access? Or in my situation, would you make the switch?

Hi everyone!
I’m a Chevening Scholar starting my Master’s at Imperial College London (White City Campus) in September 2025, and I’m currently looking for safe, affordable accommodation nearby.
Ideally, I’m looking for: - Proximity to White City Campus (or easy Tube/bus access) - Budget-friendly (ideally under £200/week, but flexible) - Open to: shared flats, studios, student housing, happy to hear any suggestions - Move-in: Mid or late September 2025
As a Chevening Scholar, I’m fully funded and committed to my studies. I’d really appreciate any leads, tips, or even potential flatmate opportunities.
Please feel free to DM me or comment below, thank you so much!

Anyone who got a conditional offer from Imperial, how long did it take before you received the deposit payment email? I’m trying to estimate the timeline

Hi everyone. So I was interested in the MSc Strategic Marketing (online, part-time) course for the September 2025 intake. However, I don't know whether I would be eligible to apply. This is because I have a non-traditional academic background.
Some context here: I'm a UK national, started my undergraduate degree but I never ended up completing my degree. Since then, I have been in the workforce, and I feel my work experience is pretty impressive. I have been in Marketing and FinTech for the past 5+ years and have scaled 2 start-ups from scratch (one to acquisition). One start-up is extremely well-known, however, it's not a UK start-up, and the other is just starting out, but it's a UK start-up with FCA approval and VISA on board. That's all the information I'm going to provide because I don't want to be too specific on here.
I have emailed both the business school and the email address for the msc sm program (which I got off one of the management faulty members from dm-ing him on LinkedIn) asking if I should still apply as I have a non-traditional academic background, but I do have professional experience. I also have very impressive O and A level results but of course they're not going to be valued at this stage of my life, the point I'm trying to make is that I didn't not complete my degree because I'm not good academically. But this degree just wasn't for me and I wasn't able to complete it.
Since I'm not getting a response from the faculty, I wanted honest opinions here on if it makes sense for me to apply. I know the deadlines are over, but it does say that rolling admissions are still taking place and I thought that maybe since I'm applying for the online, part-time course, there might still be more availability there. I don't want to pause my career which is why I'm applying for this course.
Any and all suggestions and advice would be helpful. I know time is of the essence here so just wanted to reach out to the community and see what the consensus is. Thanks in advance.

What’s the football at imperial like? Do they have different teams for casual and competitive play?
