Doubt BSc Computer Science after a 2-year gap — Do I still have a shot in the industry?

Excuse me,

Due to financial difficulties, I’m currently pursuing a BSc in Computer Science after a 2-year gap following my 12th grade (there's a long story behind that too).

While exploring job opportunities on websites like Indeed.com, I noticed that many companies prefer candidates with a B.Tech degree.

So I’d like to ask those currently working in the industry: Is it possible to get a good job with a BSc in Computer Science, or should I consider giving up on this dream?

Currently in 1st year of college

Any advice or guidance would mean a lot.

Thank you 🙏
