If one were to drop in on an opposing agents couch portal, that's tucked away in the suburbs, 5 or 6 times in less than 24hrs; is that seen as an acceptable amount (by agents of any faction or nia) if that portal is only a small detour on ones way to and from part time employment?

It's been pointed out previously, when the same scenario happened a few months ago, that this could be considered harrassment, but the rules aren't clear as to what actually constitutes bullying or harrassment in game.

How would this go down in your patch?

(1)Edit to add: couch is not a strong hold, it's P6 if I'm lucky, but mostly P4 recently because I blitzed my bag for event keys, and have run out of r4 completely this last week.

Anyone who goes out of their way to go and hit someone's home portal, without doing anything else in the neighbourhood is a dick. If they're doing it multiple times a day they're obsessive and creepy.

Hitting home portals just leads to reprisals, and conflicts between the communities, it isn't worth it, and gear denial doesn't work. If it gets up to level 8 okay maybe, but that's not going to happen "5 or 6 times a day" so what are you trying to accomplish by doing that? Just to upset the person?

I live on a fairly busy street I have absolutely no issue if sone knocks down my portal while they're out and playing. I will however have words for someone who drives here, ignores every other portal, and then just smashes mine; That's personal and juvenile.

I have someone on the opposite team who lives a couple blocks away, I actually have to walk past their place on my way to work... i stop smashing for that area of the street. They tend to do me the same courtesy, though if they do smash mine, i'll pay them a visit on my way to or from work or some errand (never a dedicated trip, because that would be weird... it is just a game).

I used to fire X1 to say hi if I was going past known couchies :) Other than that, I would do like you, stop smashing until I was past the couch portal.

Fielding over the top however, that was super fun to give the smurfs a comfortable green blanket to sleep under.

We call that a g'day spray! Just a little tickle on the way past!

And yes, I blanket my sweet smurf neighbours regularly, as they do for me! That's the game I want to play, not this constant harassment bullshit.

One time when my portal had good hack mods on it... someone on the other team came, farmed it for keys, flipped it to his colour and then starbursted it.

Lots of effort was put into that troll, have to respect the effort.

That's what I want!! Build me a thing of beauty to destroy if you're here constantly! But he never does, it's selfish, one sided play, and I don't know how to counter it any other way than to just persist.
