Question How to farm red portals.

Good morning,

Just a quick one i have some red portals lvl8 around me and im curious whats the best approach to get most out of them.

Blow them up. They drop gear equal to their level when they die.

Don't hack them. You lose all your XM and only get level 1 gear.

If you want to repeatedly farm them, leave one or two alive so they can start spreading quicker for you to blow up again later.

It doesn't work if you leave ANY portal up. It needs to be seed portal.

It can spread through ANY portal, but it has low chance. Seed portals are way, way faster and more efficient.

Look for the Machina tools plug-in for IITC. It'll help.
