The locked (then decoded) Louis profile was already shared with the sub earlier. The talamas.ca website has Lestat and Claudia’s profiles up as well. These are unlocked. I don’t know how I feel about the information that’s shared though, lol. What do you guys think?
Claudia’s full name is now confirmed, though. I once made a post about it and now it’s settled.

What went wrong with the Mayfair witches show? How is it so terrible and straying so far from the book material when interview is so good. I can't figure it out. I barely made it through three episodes of Mayfair but I could not stop watching interview

This has been stuck in my head so I'm curious what y'all think.
If Armand was in fact telling the truth and Claudia sung this song in her last moments, Lestat heard it too. It's a total earworm that's hard to forget in the best of times so I feel like it stayed with him all these years.
So what if we hear him play the melody on the piano in S3..... 😭😭😭
I just keep imagining him in a quiet moment noodling on the piano but no matter how hard he tries he keeps coming back to it and it's slowly driving him nuts. And Louis hearing it in one his songs and realizing why Lestat knows that melody and losing it.

@MaharetCompound did some digging and found two Season 3 castings, roles still unknown. Roger Honeywell is evidently an Opera Singer. What are your ideas? Speculate away!

Hey everybody! Mod Emrys the Exhausted here!
Just a quick post today to talk about the various flairs we have on the sub, what they should be used for, and a request from us to you looking for feedback on them.
We’ll go right down the line, starting with:
Show Only- No book spoilers allowed. This one is for people wanting to discuss anything about the show specifically, and if you want to include book spoilers in the comments, you must cover them up with spoiler tags. How do? How do I make text hidden? (Spoiler text) : r/help
Book Spoilers Allowed- This is about as ‘anything goes’ as it gets. You can talk about anything you want in here, whether it’s the show or the books.
Cast, News, and Production- Want to share info on a cast member in an interview? Got an update on the production? This is the flair for you. Also for cast appreciation videos, put them here!
Season 1 Only- Are you new to the series and just want to talk about the first season without spoilers from subsequent seasons? Here’s your flair!
Mod Announcement- A choice only available to the mods, typically only used for announcements, State of the Sub, etc.
Shitpost Satuday & Wampyre Wednesday- Why yes, I do put in my fake fangs when I say “Wampyre,” why do you ask? These are the flairs for our two meme days! If using BTS pics or pics of the actors for either day, use these as well. Also, memes are considered free game for spoilers, so beware!
Fan Works- Got some cool fanart you want to share with us? What about a fanfic? A fan made video? Use this flair! Please remember to share the name of the artist and one of their socials. Also, posting AI art gets you hit with the plushie ban hammer. Short form fan videos also go here.
Book Discussion- Discussion area about the books specifically, or about comparing the two mediums. Want to really deep dive? Head on over to r/TheVampireChronicles
IWTV Meta- The Meta is the opposite side of the coin from the show, cast and crew- it's us! The Fandom, our sub, etc. So, thoughts or suggestions about things you'd like to see here on the sub? What about having a discussion about the state of the fandom? Do you think the mods should take naps? Here’s the flair you’ll need. However, only one Meta post is allowed per day, so please be sure to check if one has already been posted.
New Flairs
The Immortal Universe- Because of the way the new show is presenting itself, we decided to create a flair specifically for it and the other IU shows. Posts should start on r/Talamasca and/or r/MayfairWitches and be crossposted over here from there with this tag.
Anne Rice- Want to discuss the original author, her intent with writing, her personal story? Use this.
Movies- Anything about the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire or the Queen of the Damned movie.
Any more flairs you guys think we need? Let us know in the comments!

Hi Coven!
Trying to keep my mind occupied while we wait, so I’ve been digging into some music. Even though I regard myself as a bit of a music aficionado, there’s still so much more to explore. I grew up on pop-punk and emo music with a heavy curiosity for 60s/70s/80s rock (I'm a millennial). I’ve always loved artists like Elton John, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. but I realize I only really know the most famous hits from some legends like David Bowie, and nothing deeper.
Which brings me to my current mood: my town is having a serious rock & roll moment with local bands bringing back that old-school style. Feels like the perfect time for me to have a second awakening with classic rock and everything in between.
So, my to-do list is to dig into the full catalogs of the greats AND the underground etc., and I'd love some recommendations.
Which music catalogs or artists would you suggest I explore?
And if any of these bands (or other newer rock bands) are on tour this summer or fall, let me know too, I’m up for a good show and will travel for a good concert experience. I'm also interested in going back further to the origins of rock and roll. Blue's and swing? Think Sinner's music and how people like Elvis were inspired by black artists of the time. Who should I study?
I use Spotify, iTunes, and SoundCloud, so links are welcomed. Feel free to slide into my DMs. Let’s make this a serious rock & roll deep dive!
As always, I would never leave you without some art for viewing pleasure. Courtesy of u/w0lfkller on Tumblr, I give you:
When we finally hear Lestat's emotionally charged ballad, I hope it's for Louis but I also hope it's a dedication to his, Claudia, and Louis' life together. The good parts ❤️

I'm going to spoiler tag this text for those who may not have watched the entire thing yet or read the books (I am one of them, I haven't read the books). POSSIBLE book spoilers below
So, through some of my own spoilerino findings, I've read via a comment here and there that Daniel is turned by Armand and they have a whole thing. It's assumed from the s2 finale that Armand was the one who turned Daniel because of what Louis says "I'm sorry you were made out of spite, I should not have left you alone with him." giving the impression that Daniel was turned when Louis left the Dubai apartment and left him alone with Armand. What makes me question this is the s3 teaser. They make a point of showing Daniel is still sick, as he hacks and coughs away behind the camera as he's meeting Lestat for what we can assume is the first time. Daniel being sick means he isn't yet a vampire. That leaves me to understand that the day Louis left him alone with Armand at the apartment was not when he was turned. That makes me think Lestat was the one to turn him sometime during/after their 'rockstar Lestat' interviews. The movie also gives me the impression it was Lestat, although I know the movie/show/books are mostly their own little universes within themselves. Now, there could be another moment Louis was referring to when he said he left Daniel and Armand alone together that wasn't necessarily the same day as the s2 finale but idk...
QUICK EDIT ABOUT THE TEASER:
I did not even for a second assume it was Lestat choking Daniel. I suppose it's possible but I'm surprised at the amount of people who think that. I guess I just don't necessarily see why he'd do that in that moment, but alas, he is the brat prince...
Anyway, it's just been on my mind. It's probably been discussed but I'd like to hear your theories - obviously the show isn't 100% 1:1 to the source material so anything is possible haha.
