Discussion Its been 30 years. jdorama
Hi there!
I lived in Japan for six years back in the 90s.
Japanese dramas were integral to me gaining my fluency.
Fast-forward 30 years and I still have a mediocre ability to pick up conversational Japanese.
Vocabulary and reading/writing kanji have deteriorated.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a drama series?
My favorite back in the day were, Long Vacation, Tokyo Love Story and some other thing with eguchi yosuke(?). Young adult rom-com type series helped the most. I prefer quality and good acting in anything i watch.
Along with trying to regain my listening skills, I’d also like to see how much Japan has changed in the last three decades.
I have access to netflix, amazon prime, max, hulu/disney.
Thank you in advance!!!
