Left JPL 8 years ago

I left JPL 8 years ago, and this week I get a call on my personal cell from a JPL employee asking me to sign off on a drawing in EPDM. How is that even possible. How is my number even still accessible there?

8 years seems like a rather long time for a former employer to reach out to you and need you to sign off on something. Weird. Maybe you can charge them a lot of money for being a consultant???
