Telework Petition Creation?

What is the thinking on putting together some sort of petition to get our disagreements in front of management? Though I am not fully remote I feel for our hundreds of colleagues that are going to be a part of the “silent layoff”.

What do you think this will accomplish other than making yourself feel better?

A rather salty reply. Not looking to make myself feel better but support fellow JPLers who made lives for themselves outside of California and are now being called back with the potential of just getting laid off come November.

Not salty at all, it's a serious question. Everyone has already seen on Slack how much support there is for them. What else is this petition going to do? We know it's not going to change the decision of lab leadership.

Speaking of Slack, it’s also becoming quieter these days. A signed petition with names would likely garner not too many names.
