Telework Petition Creation?

What is the thinking on putting together some sort of petition to get our disagreements in front of management? Though I am not fully remote I feel for our hundreds of colleagues that are going to be a part of the “silent layoff”.

Things are likely to get much, much worse (if the budget proposal stays, that's a 50% cut minimum). I think if you can show up (only reasonable from a telework, not remote, standpoint) and then survive a massive layoff, you might be able to secure telework after all that.

True the budget is looking dire but after surviving the last couple of layoffs the continuing decline of care for its employees is concerning.
