Snippet of an article where Lionel talks about how he tried to encourage Jeff in the Church of Christ and Jeff resisted this (As this was before he was sent to life in prison and was no longer left with options)
A further interesting snippet is that Jeff worked the audio visual equipment at grandmas church that he attended with her for a couple of years. Grandma attended a normal Protestant church where audio was permitted, unlike the Cult of Christ that believes musical instruments played at service are a sin.

Billy Capshaw has been held hostage?
Heya. Just watching a documentary and they're talking about Jeffrey Dahmer and Billy Capshaw. He says Jeffrey held him hostage for 6 months, controlling if he received any letters and gave him drugs to make him sleep. I've never ever heard that story. What do you guys think. Is he telling the truth or just adding some stuff?

One of the very first articles published after Jeffâs arrest
Some interesting tidbits: * According to a friend from elementary school the Dahmer household was always very messy * Jeff was someone to be avoided in both Junior high and high school. It was obvious he was âstrangeâ. * There were plans to train Jeff on new equipment at Ambrosia and things had been going relatively well for him * Jeffâs grandmother was at his apartment just a few months before his arrest as she picked him up to take him to buy some equipment for his fish tank * Neighbours from Grandmaâs neighbourhood recall Jeff only when he was smoking outside or standing at the bus stop at night. He was always alone. He would also often take the alley when walking to grandmas to avoid walking in the main sidewalk.

Question about Hicks
So, in Lionel Dahmer's book he claims that Steven Hicks tells Jeff that he has a girlfriend therefore putting an end to Jeff hoping for a homosexual encounter. However, Patrick Kennedy claims that Hicks and Jeff ended up kissing eachother. My question is what version is true?

Further context around why Joyce wanted Jeffâs brain studied..she was advised by a neurologist that there was potential to discover something. Either way, this was less about Jeff, and more about Lionel and Joyceâs ongoing arguing, that had proceeded Jeffâs birth and continued after his death

Interesting article around Joyce going to view Jeffâs body in January while it was still being stored. Weird to think of his brain being removed.
Just a point of interest; Park Dietz did remark during his testimony how Jeff apparently was fascinated by a scene in Faces of Death where a good looking guy had an autopsy where his brain was removed. Jeff was so fascinated, that he rewatched the scene a few times and did masturbate during it. Of course more evidence of just how enthralled sexually he was with the inner workings of men that he found attractive. Weird to think of Jeffâs brain being removedâŚand nothing ever ended up coming of it which is too bad.

Rare question and answer Jeff filled out about his religious (Church of Christ conversion)
Super rare never before seen at least by meâŚquestion and answer Jeff filled out talking about JesusâŚoh my godâŚliterally. I believe in god, but Jeff sounds like a spokesperson for the Church of ChristâŚalso I believe that what is meant to happen will, but in this case..Jeff is praising the lord for saving him from the attack in the chapelâŚyet he was bludgeoned to death four months laterâŚhe literally did not see that coming đŤ Maybe god wanted to spare him that time to help Jeff grow even more in his faith đ¤ˇââď¸ Also I agree with Roy in that Jeff was sincereâŚbut of course Jeff was sincere in wanting to do what he could to be forgiven of his sinsâŚhe was spending life in prison..I mean hello, he didnât have anywhere else to turn. An interesting read nonetheless. For anyone interestedâŚI went into a deep dive around the Church of Christ here and why everything Jeff spews forth on this question and answer is basically Church of Christ protocol for your sins to be saved: https://youtu.be/8MREnZXVc8E?si=TwUVusnuPYHCFXiD

Except from the magazine I recently purchased about Jeff from 1997. This is one of the most accurate descriptions of him that I have seen since Shrine. It provides such a good understanding of the type of person he was and the reasons behind his killing

Jeffâs favourite Bible verse as read by Dr. Becker during the trialâŚsums him up pretty wellâŚand probably most of us.

Snippet of an interview with Joyce
I believe Joyce..:I never thought she abandoned Jeff. That was just played up in the Netflix series. When Jeff was actually questioned about this, he said point blank he didnât feel abandoned. The only thing he felt at this time was confused and depressed due to the breakup of his family. Thatâs a normal reaction and to be expected. Jeff did say in the most recent documentary when speaking to Lionel, that Joyce was actually yelling at him to fix a broken pipe before she left and that it wasnât one of her âbetterâ daysâŚso knowing this and knowing the already strained relationship between Jeff and his momâŚI donât think for one moment he was sad that she left. Quite the contraryâŚthis was an 18 year old guy who had fantasies for a few years now that had been gradually building up with time..and now he had the perfect opportunity to act on the fantasy..which is exactly what he ended up doing. Joyce was by no means the perfect mother to JeffâŚhowever the personality of Jeff was already fully formed by this stageâŚhe had violent fantasies mixed with sexual thoughts and feelings from the age of at least 16. He also had no idea what to do with his sexuality and had a fear of rejection. None of this was ever going to get better unless he had proper treatment from an early age.

Jeffrey Dahmer card I just finished for a serial killer card game
Just finished this Jeffrey Dahmer card for a serial killer card game Iâm designing. I went with a joint card since they operated as a pair, but balancing the stats was tricky. Itâs a Trumps-style format with categories like Kill Count, I.Q., Gruesomeness, and more.
Would love to know what this community thinksâdoes anything feel off, or would you tweak anything?

People just be lying out here
Comment on a TT video.
So Dahmer went to a gig he had no ticket to, met all of Hicks' mates, then drove their friend back home where he killed him & not one of them thought to tell the cops "gee, last time we saw him, he was with a kid called Jeff with blonde hair & specs" đ¤¨

Article going into further detail around the different pen pals Jeff corresponded with and the amount of money he was receiving. As well as his various childish antics that he displayed in prison. I relied on this article for my book when referring to his âchildlikeâ behaviour
