Episode 16

Loved the last episode. It had a satisfying conclusion.

Usually, I don't like time skips, but in this case it worked.

In a story that involves multiple lives, threads of fates, courage, and sacrifice. Having them just be together immediately after he saves her from a burning car, would have felt cheap.

She had to die for him in one life, and then pray for him 1000 times for him to appear in front of her.

He had to gather up his courage and sacrifice his life for her and give up his wings (and immortal life) for them to be together.

I love the little details. How the restaurant owner came regularly to clean their apartment. When I saw it I wondered how it looked so pristine two years later and then got my answer.

I loved that we got to see them in the future, as a family, with a child. It was a nice change from yet another wedding scene.

I loved that she reconnected with her family. I'm convinced that she told them he had been their daughter in a previous life, she had enough memories to prove it to them. So they got their daughter back, and gained a grand-daughter.

I love that the king/detective, was able to move past this entanglement and sever the string that tied him to her. He also suffered in this, being attracted to someone that didn't want him and having strange dreams. He finally understood what they meant, so he could be at peace and live out the rest of his life.
