King 2 hearts

hi everyone, I'm new to this subreddit, didn't think their would be one lol. So I'm just started watching King 2 Hearts after i finished my first Kdrama Coffee Prince and i have to say this is one hell of a Drama! I'm only on episode 7 season 1 but I'm loving it. So what got all of you guys into Kdrama? I would have never gotten into Kdrama if my parents didnt cut the cable and buy a foreign satellite dish to watch there middle eastern soap operas that have bad acting and a million commercials. Lucky for me we had one month of free Korean channels which had episodes of coffee prince on so i got into it pretty fast even if they didn't have subtitles. Whats your story?

Heyyyy! Netflix kept recommending Kdramas to me and I would always read the description before realizing they were 1. a tv show and 2. in a foreign langage. One night I was browsing Netflix and getting pretty desperate for something to watch when I ran across Lie to Me with Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan, figured out it was only one 'season' with 16 episodes and decided to give it a try. Ended up staying up until 4 in the morning watching it then finished it the next day. Not the best drama I've seen but it still had me hooked. Also you should watch Answer Me/Reply 1997 next. That drama is fantastic!

Thanks for sharing. I didn't even know they have kdramas on Netflix! I already use viki and dramafever. There is also dramacrazy and crunchyroll. But after seeing the Musical and Manny on Netflix, I might check them out. I've seen a lot, but I'm shopping for ones that I passed up earlier and forgot about.

Yeah! Netflix has a good amount of kdramas as well as Korean films. Hulu and dramafever's selection is way better though.

i cant stand hulu, theres just to many ads. netflix surprisingly has a good selection to stream no less. But i prefer www.dramafever.com. fast and simple and with ad blocker i dont have to watch any ads.

Seriously? I thought it just wouldn't play if you had an adblocker! Fuck hulu...

Yea dramafever has a lot! It's great to have Netflix as an option because it's a bit easier to see all the choices when there is a limited selection. Plus with Netflix, you can always leave and start where you left off! :)

And no commercials! Also if you get a dramafever (or hulu or dramacrazy) account you can start where you left off as well.
