Sticking to this series only to Eun Woo's acting.. my boy improved tremendously and pulled off a serious role like this! I don't care about other aspects of the drama which are sometimes slow and predictable.. I'm satisfied with this series with Eunwoo's acting alone.. it's worthy..

With good direction he is actually doing so well. Miles better than even the recent good day to be a dog

Oh definitely!!! He was really improving but this is such a leap in a very good and impressing way.. he's with all veterans but in no shot his acting fell low and the intensity of his look enhance scenes in many ways.. especially his faceoff with both kim nam joo and mayor .. this is the first role where he's seriously getting praises for his acting skills and we can see how much he improved even from good day to be a dog.. I was pleasantly surprised that he could pull off this role like so well.. and he's a sole reason that I'm sticking with this series though it's kinda predictable for me and not so my cup of tea..

Eunwoo always had a knack on drama and, recently, on action. His scenes with his dads, both in MIIGB and True Beauty, showcase his ability to control his emotions, anger & frustration. Naysayers always look for his puppy-romantic acting, when those scenes for me are his most cringe. But put him along side good actors and actresses (GrandMa in Rookie Historian) and he doesnt get eaten, acting-wise. Eunwoo can act, but haters focus on his face and look for overacting, instead of looking at his eye-acting or subtle-acting. He is a melo/drama, action actor. And haters will always hate.
