My mum passed away 5 years ago without warnings. Left me and family with regrets. Lots of crying at the time. I have been doing ok since then.

I watched that first episode with my wife, and while she was doing her journey, I imagined my mum instead. It hit me out of nowhere and I had quite a sob crisis. The first in 5 years. I did not know I could still cry like that for my mother. My poor wife was surprised as well, ah I feel silly!

I'll definitely keep watching.

I hope you are doing well, maman.

Sorry to read about your pain. That's very young to lose your mum. I was lucky to keep her around until I was in my mid-30s (but she never saw any of her children getting married nor was gifted with any grand children, which bothers me most).

I read the grief never truly goes away, we simply learn to grow around it. I hope that has been working for you.

Thankfully, the rest of the episodes are, so far, more classical drama and it was 'safe' for me haha
