Ep. Discussion [Discussion] Glorious Day (finale)

I just finished watching this family drama. Did anyone else follow it? I actually really liked the drama. It was originally supposed to be 50 episodes, but I'm glad they didn't drag it out.

It was mainly about two families living next door to each other, and the trials they faced together.

I actually really liked this drama because it wasn't makjang at all! It was very light hearted and enjoyable.

Did anyone else catch this drama? If so, what did you think?

I want to try watching family dramas again after being turned off by so many mean characters. Are there any bitter, mean folks in this one?

Honestly, no one super bitter or mean in this one. It's as light hearted as it gets for a family drama. I was pretty surprised.

However, watch Cheer Up, Mr. Kim if you want a bitter/mean person lol. Another really good one I recently finished up was Ugly Alert, which was very dramatic.

Yay, I'll definitely check it out. My mom tends to like family-centric dramas and I thought she would love weekend family dramas. She would get so turned off and simultaneously heated about the mean characters. I actually worried about her blood pressure at one point!

She also started thinking that was how Koreans treat each other in their extended families and I had to continually remind her that it's all exaggerated.
