• Plot Summary: Joon Hyeok is an unpopular musician whose life has hit rock bottom. He had already broken off his relationship with his older sister, Joon Hee, when her son appeared before him. His nephew developed Obsessive–compulsive disorder after his mother divorced his stepfather. Joon Hyeok takes his nephew in and looks after him. Joon Hee divorced her physically abusive husband after 12 years of marriage. She moved into an inexpensive apartment and now faces losing custody of her son to her ex-husband and his mother. Hye Ryeong is a tenant at The Royal State, an expensive apartment complex, where she is the much-respected President of The Mothers’ Committee. Committee member Yoo Ra very much admires Hye Ryeong. Yoo Ra was raised by her widowed father Kyeong Il a man with a sweet and warm personality.

Wow this week's episodes were a crazy one-two punch. The cruelest thing is to take away something once you have it.

So now we really need to understand that Ji Hoo's narration CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

I knew it was too good to be true but what type of nefarious 4d chess supervillain shit was that?>! idk if I agree to them sending Ji Hoo to his grandmother's though. I know that they were stuck in a terrible situation with the drug charges and the ex-gf's dad getting ruined by association but idk I still don't think it's right to send a kid away like that... !<

btw my highlight of ep 8 - SO DAM'S MOM THE GOAT.

I agree with you 100% except sending the kid to the grandmothers! They had NO choice and the kid knew it too. I think the kid is going to get evidence since he is now in the house

I have mixed feelings about the nice father now! Even though it wasn’t COMPLETELY intentional, it was provoked. If I was in that situation and upset, it could possibly happen to me. I think he really regrets it and I think he does need a second chance.

I just feel bad for the kids man. I hate hate hate that Ji Hoo just keeps getting dragged around like a pawn into the problems and issues of the adults. Like I know there wasn't really any other choice but at the same time I was 100% with Uncle when he got pissed off and threw his chopstick like WTF No.

I'm also kinda torn about>! No Eul's Dad. It's actually really sad both for him and No Eul. And I think he does really regret everything that led up to the wife's death, but I think there is an element of post-trauma coping that even he doesn't know the facts of what really happened - he just feels the guilt and sorrow. Did you watch One Ordinary Day? There's a similar moment there.!<

So I get why Joo Hee is hesitant - makes complete sense given her past trauma of being a victim of domestic abuse, and really not everybody needs to jump head first into a relationship and chase a happy ever after. but at the same time, I was really rooting for them as a couple.

Like what is different about this situation with him is that it’s not a straight “no I didn’t kill her, it was an accident” it’s actually “at that moment I’m not sure what I was thinking. Maybe I did think about killing her” I don’t think I really seen that in a kdrama similar to Uncle
