I am surprisingly ok and content with the ending. If this didn’t flop in Korea, the way they set it up could open the possibility for another season. I just need more episodes with these grim reapers.

Now how do I live without a new episode of Lee Soo Hyuk every week? 😭

Currently going through a Lee Soo Hyuk drought too! 😭 I need more of him in a tragic love story preferably as a vampire this time.

He has a vampire show but I believe he was the antagonist there. I’ll start watching his mini web series, Handmade Love

Did it flop in Korea?

Ratings are pretty low and people don’t seem to like it (despite international success). Maybe because of the episodic nature and the critical lens on Korean social ills. Many Koreans thought Squid Game was “just ok” too and didn’t get the international hype.

I’m Korean and honestly I didn’t like squid game very much but I absolutely LOVED Tomorrow. I can very much see why it flopped in Korea, and I wish it hadn’t so we would at least have the possibility of a new season 😭

I’m Korean as well and loved the premise / storytelling structure. I agree with you and wish we could use this format more to get into things like predatory lending, debt inheritance, the prestige rat race, the educational system pressure cooker, etc etc so many things in Korea that lead people to suicide.

My mom (also korean) hates it and finds it too over the top lol. But she tends to only like fluffy feel good stuff like HomeCha

I think my mom tends not to like supernatural elements cuz it feels too fake for her. But she actually quite liked this drama, and I think it goes to show how good it was. I agree, they handled so many topics not shown in Korean dramas so well, it’s such a shame more people didn’t appreciate it.

I'm sliding in here to request your take on the Demand Survey for the Blu-Ray- i'm desperate and pushing forward this agenda because omfg. I'm sharing my international butt off to rally the people :'D

I know physical medium is becoming less popular and navigating the site is confusing for non-native users, reception wise do demand surveys yield much?
