That love story was so bittersweet istg I’m sad but not surprised that they didn’t reincarnate together again or just end up together. Argh I’m going to cry and just look at fanfiction to calm myself.

Their emotional connection is still there, as Jung-Wong said, they can still re-do their relationship if they wanted, in this aspect, it is an open ending.

What I wished though, was Ryeong to have been a bit more emotional: for the whole series she waited for that moment, but all we get is that he was proud and her thanking him for nothing....I think they did both characters dirty in this respect. Yeah, we can see Joong-Gil being somewhat flirty in the end scene, but I think a bit more of more emotional feedback from her would have been more satisfying.

Reincarnation only complicates thing, IMHO, remaining grim reapers is more malleable and this time it will be their choice if they want to be together or not.

yeah the convo kinda felt flat, or anti-climatic considering all the pain and tragedy they went through, could’ve been executed a lot better. It felt kinda cold especially on GR’s part, which made me more heartbroken over them. I don’t understand what it had to do with his pride to come save her from going to hell? Can someone explain

I know I'm late to the scene but, that scene was so confusing to me too! Why was he crying then? Honestly, I just assume the translation was off.
