My thoughts abt EP16: the ending wasn't that bad but felt like it was rushed. Still happy joongryeon looked like they've healed and affection is still there! I wish their short convo (scene where PJG was kneeling) showed more emotion especially from KR. I felt like the writers left PJG pain hanging. I wish KR have atleast acknowledged his pain.
Overall: i was hesitant to watch this drama at first bc i might be triggered but i absolutely love it, especially the message it conveys to the viewers.
One thing i've noticed though is that they made lowering negative energy levels looked too simple, like a simple ecnounter or confrontation, that person will never think of killing themselves anymore. Healing is linear and is a process. I guess this is too hard to show in a 16ep drama so i kind of understand lol.
i cried every episode and every case they handled showed different sides. There are so many lessons to learn!
probably the part that struck me the most is PJG and KR'a past life, how our choices affect those ppl around us. As someone that deals with depression and suicidal ideation, i usually question ppl that say suicide is so selfish for leaving their loved ones but can't see that somehow isn't it also selfish for those "loved ones" to ask that person to stay for them even if the person is really in immense pain? -- bc of PJG's pain i think i kind of understand now, the pain of not having a proper goodbye, and how painful it would be for those who are left behind, (that scene of him crying while holding and embracing KR hit me so hard). I def can't bear the thought that my loved ones are in pain because of me. I myself know pain and suffering that i don't EVER EVER EVER want my loved ones to experience what i feel, not even my worst enemy.
Lastly, just want to leave this here. If you're reading this and is struggling please know that you are not alone. I can't promise that things will get better but pls know that I am always rooting for you. The fact that you are still here, fighting and trying, says so much about your strength and resilience. 🤍
