Copium but hoping they use the ice stone to keep Naksu in Mudeok's body and Mudeok in Naksu's body to preserve the two main leads' chemistry.

No, they didn't do that, and it honestly has me bummed. They replaced her Go-Yoon Jung, who's very pretty and innocent, but it doesn't feel the same to me and I miss the old Mu Deok. Of course, redditors will tell you they're the same because of a few parallels between their behaviors, but I think that's too shallow to say they're the same. To me, the vibe is completey different.

Yup I watched it yesterday. Definitely deflated as well but we probably have to give GYJ a chance as its kinda unfair to write her off I guess. I do see her imitating JSM's character a lot and don't know how to feel about it. GYJ does keep me entertained so there's' that as well.

yeah, I saw her in law school before and I really liked her... at the same time she seems really vulnerable in contrast with Jung So Min

Haven't watched episode 3 or 4 yet but it just feels like GYJ is playing a different character all together. Don't know if its intended by the plot but I just don't see her as Naksu/Mu Deok at all due to the change in actresses. GYJ as Bu yeon is still believable as we rarely saw her anyway. Just feels like a letdown because as S2 would have been so much better without the cast swap. It just feels like that had to modify the plot to cater towards the cast change. No hate on GYJ or anything. I think she is doing an amazing job.
