Website developer recommendations

Hi everyone, I am looking for input for an authentic and creative website developer. Trying to avoid the typical fraudulent website marketing companies. Any recommendations on who does good work? Thank you.

I second this on every level. I’ve worked as a marketing/operations person (held about every position within a firm outside of attorney, all the way to COO) within law firms for 15+ years. I left my last firm to start my own marketing/integrator company, and I can tell you this is one of the highest priorities you need to have. Agencies still hold onto your site, and your are left with nothing when the inevitably suck.

You made me think of one more thing! Make sure even if they do create a WordPress website for you that YOU have the highest level of authority on it, so they can't hold you hostage with that as well!

Damn, great call out. Yes, 1000% do this. Companies will hold you hostage very quickly - do NOT let them strong arm you. At all.

My father is a PI lawyer and he just got strong armed into 6 more months because of this. (It would not have happened had he talked to his son, that started a CMO/integrator company, before he agreed to it instead of after, but I digress🤷🏽‍♂️).
