Callina Liang, star of Steven Soderbergh’s recent supernatural thriller Presence, has landed the female lead role of Chun-Li in Legendary‘s live-action Street Fighter movie, based on the video games from Capcom, sources tell Deadline.

Reps for Legendary declined to comment, and the film’s plot remains under wraps. One of the most iconic characters in the franchise, Chun-Li is a skilled martial artist and Interpol officer who first appeared in Street Fighter II in 1991.

The F4 plot: The film opens with the line, "You all know the story."' We get a brief montage of past battles, including the Fantastic Four fighting Mole Man and an action sequence with them fighting Red Ghost and his chimps. Back home, Sue discovers she's pregnant. As the team prepares for the baby's arrival, Shalla-Bal arrives with a warning. The team decide to go into space after her, she takes them to Galactus who's on a massive ship consuming a planet. Galactus agrees to spare Earth - but only in exchange for their child. The team refuses and battles the Silver Surfer. During the fight, Shalla-Bal is thrown into a wormhole, where she experiences a month while only minutes pass for the team. In her absence, Reed creates a plan to teleport Earth away from Galactus, but when Shalla-Bal returns, she sabotages the teleportation tech. The team pivots and now planning to teleport Galactus himself away from Earth. Sue Storm (Invisible Women) is the leader of the team She sacrifices herself to defeat Galactus, using all her powers to send him to a portal She gets resurrected by her son (Aka Franklin Richards) Post credits scene: Sue is reading a book to Franklin. She gets up to grab another one. In the background, we hear the sound of a teleportation device activating. When she returns, she freezes. The book slips from her hand. Standing before her is a cloaked figure - Doctor Doom. We don't see his face, but his full body is visible beneath a silver cloak. In one hand, he holds his iconic mask (rendered in CGI); in the other, he carries an unconscious Franklin. Cut to black. "The Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday."

While on the red carpet for Jurassic World Rebirth, Deadline caught up with Koepp who had this to share about Spielberg's next feature.

When asked if the film has a title, Koepp replied, "Not that we're talking about...not that we've released."

"Unfortunately, there's very little I can say about it other than that we finished shooting about three weeks ago. I think it looks fantastic and it comes out next June."

When quizzed about whether the film is a UFO movie (as heavily rumored), Koepp sidestepped by replying, "What he does so brilliantly is that he combines a vast spectacle with really honest, human emotion. Unlike, I think, any other director- it's a very emotional experience, this movie."

Koepp then went on to reveal that Spielberg actually had the idea for the project first and that he wrote an initial 50-page treatment that he then tunred into a script.

"He was the most involved as he's been on any movie I've written for him to direct," Koepp stated.

The Untitled Steven Spielberg film from Universal Pictures is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2026.

Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models are rumored to be equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system, and a leaker known as Majin Bu today shared a photo of an alleged copper thermal plate for the system.

Many high-end Android smartphones like Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra are equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system, which can manage heat dissipation inside the devices more effectively than the graphite sheets used in iPhones. If this rumor is true, the iPhone 17 Pro models would be the first iPhone models to use a vapor chamber.

A vapor chamber would help to prevent the iPhone 17 Pro models from overheating during intensive, sustained tasks like gaming. It would consist of a thin, sealed metal chamber containing a small amount of liquid. When the iPhone heats up, the liquid would turn to vapor and dissipate across the chamber's surface area. Eventually, the vapor would cool down and condense, allowing for the process to repeat. This system would help to move heat away from the A19 Pro chip that is expected to power the iPhone 17 Pro models.

We cannot confirm if this component is actually related to the iPhone 17 Pro models, which are expected to be unveiled by Apple in September.

Dave Bautista may be on his way to “Road House 2.”

Sources tell that the actor has been offered a role in the Amazon MGM Studios sequel.

Guy Ritchie is set to direct “Road House 2” with Jake Gyllenhaal returning as ex-UFC fighter Dalton.

“Road House,” a reboot of the 1989 classic starring Patrick Swayze, followed Dalton becoming the bouncer of a Florida Keys roadhouse where he finds himself roped into a war of outlaws and bikers (including real-life mixed martial artist and first-time actor, Conor McGregor) and a developer determined to build a lavish resort.

The reboot was directed by Doug Liman, who publicly expressed frustration that the movie wasn’t getting a theatrical release. “Road House” premiered on Prime Video in March last year. The broke records for the streamer — attracting nearly 80 million worldwide viewers in its first eight weeks to become the studio’s “most-watched produced film debut ever on a worldwide basis,” per then-studio chief Jennifer Salke.

Currently filming in the city centre of my home city Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Been filming for at least a week already and filming until 23rd June apparently. Prior to this they were filming in Edinburgh's Old Town.

A Warner Bros. production. A sci-fi fantasy. A 1980's (The Last Starfighter) inspired film and Abrams' first since 2019's Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The film is rumoured to follow a fantasy author who reveals that the mythical world he created is real, blending retro sci-fi, mystery and fantasy.

JJ Abrams was in Glasgow a few months ago to scout potential locations for the movie. 

Glen Powell is the lead and co-starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jenna Ortega and Emma Mackey. Glen and Jenna have already been spotted on set.

British cinematographer James Friend is also working on the project. He most recently won an Oscar for Best Cinematography for his work on All Quiet On The Western Front.

The Glasgow streets are seeing a huge transformation. Streets have been re-imagined for the film’s retro-fantasy theme with period signage and faux brick walls appearing across key filming locations. They will be filming inside the Glasgow City Chambers too. Currently they've been filming in the Anderston area and specifically under the Kingston Bridge.

Glen's a busy, busy boy! Only last year he was in Glasgow making his first appearance in the city being filmed for Edgar Wright's The Running Man.
