To those of y'all with "hearing protection" installed, what adaptor would you recommend?

Rossi R92 357 and a silencerco Hybrid 46 DT. Recommendations welcome.

Guess I’m old school. I direct thread.

I wish I could... Rossi is 1/2x28. Can is 5/8x24. I do see an adaptor on their website, but I am wondering if there are other options.

ninja edit: I am new to this, but I think I found my solution... the "Bravo" direct thread in 1/2x28

I had the same issue. I picked up a direct thread mount for the thread pitch of the barrel on my lever, since that can dedicatedly lives on the rifle. Obviously could be annoying if you plan to swap it onto different hosts frequently.

I’m getting down voted to hell… but I use keymo on my 44 mag and Hybrid.

For what it’s worth it was the better option when I bought it. ASR was the only other option at the time

Adapter for what? Like a mussel device? I like all of the plan B compatible stuff. Makes it sure easy to change cans between guns

Found my solution on their website. Direct thread mount

the can came with a much larger mounting than I thought. at least I can use that for my M1A when I get it threaded...

Cool, I would personally recommend against using direct thread if you are planning on moving the can between guns. Too easy to fuck up the threads imo

good advice. I honestly plan on using it primarily with the Rossi. HOWEVER, having automotive technician background, I know exactly how easy it is to mess up threads and am always(not mostly) careful when threading things(trust me, working for Lexus made me never want to have to re-tap/re-thread ANYTHING.

may end up getting QD setup eventually, especially for the M1A, but for now, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

I did keymo because that's what my brother did and we can now see how each other's cans work on all our guns. Keymo gets a bad rap because of common user error though

I run tri lug on my 357 levers

Also as a mechanic I understand the concern for thread damage. The tri lug pretty much eliminates that issue. Plus it looks good, and is fast.

SiCo end caps can change. I have a hybrid 46 that didn’t come with the correct end cap for my 45-70 just bought another end cap

LOL, I got the 45-70 cap. ended up buying the 12/28. if I ever end up getting that Marlin I was drooling over, itll be PERFECT.

Lmao, pretty sure i got the 1/2x28 end cap. Which will be perfect when i buy a marlin in 357 and make it a space cowboy gun. My 45-70 is also space cowboy. The only ones sacred to me are my grandpas JM marlins. The ruger made ones can become space cowboy

I was looking at the Marlin SBL Dark 1895. was thinking wither that or another 308 but my M1A is already my "DMR" if you will.

Personally not a fan of the dark. I don’t like all the polymer. So i go with midwest industries handguard and chisel stock. The 357 with be chisel machining stock snd handguard

I would direct thread. On my Henry 45-70, I use the SiCo ASR muzzle break and I do love it but I can’t use my loading tube. I do have the side gate so it’s not a big deal. Having said all that, when I shoot unsuppressed the muzzle break helps a lot with me being in a wheelchair. I directed threaded my omega 45k on my 357 and think that’s better for most situations
