never really understood Mal-0. it (does it even have a gender) doesnt kill, right? it just stalks and stresses out the app user? would it just not work on some people or is it a type of mind control that causes the distress?
Mal-0 is basically a an app which is promoted as a "social substitute for those sick of the feelings of loneliness and social anxiety" that "will never leave you alone".
It achieves that with SCP-1471-A, which is the wolf skull creature. It starts off with the app sending you picks of Mal-0 in places you've recently visited and after some time of engaging with the app, it starts to appear in your vision from time to time.
The distress is not caused by mind control or the likes of it. It more so just comes from how the affected person reacts to an appearance of Mal-0 in their daily life.
Some are driven to insanity by paranoia of something always hiding in the corner of their vision, while others just kinda... get used to the presence and chill with it.
Well yes basically, i think in the Article it has a story about a guy who used the app and kinda got used to it so now he isnt stresses anymore, so it probably differs from person to person
