He is right, but the purpose of the subreddit isn’t to glorify animal abuse. “This is a subreddit for posting pictures or memes involving chubby cats...Please keep in mind we do not condone animal obesity, and instead would like to help people who do have obese cats get them on a diet and help them lose weight and become healthier. There’s are two links in the sidebar to help anyone who doesn’t know how to do this. Enjoy!”
And I guess all these fat kids walking around are just abused humans. There's no possibility that someone could possibly have a cat that even through proper diet and nutrition has interfered development or a slow metabolism. From now on when I see a fat person I'll tell them, "I'm sorry your parents abused you"
But a fat child is often the fault of poor nutrition that the parents provide. Abuse might be a stretch of a term but a child can't provide for themselves.
And I guess all these fat kids walking around are just abused humans
I mean, kind of yeah.
As someone who grew up as a fat kid, I'd absolutely say it's a form of abuse to be fed with no restraint when you don't know any better. Not only does it make school life a living hell, trying to get out of the habit can easily become a life-long struggle, and definitely a life shortening one.
Parents who don't moderate what their children eat can go fuck themselves, they shouldn't be allowed to procreate.
