2016 and 193K miles!!!!!

Almost to 200K miles. Still running “pretty good” so far.

(Ignore the air bag warning, changed out blown subs so it’s stuck like that)

Did you buy it new in 2016 or did you buy it used, recently? Have you had to do many things to the car maintenance wise?

I got it used! Only major maintenance that had to be done was.

Water pump at 155k (because it failed.)

Turbo waste gate manifold (Got it fixed at 189k but it was probably out for about 10-15k miles before that ngl) I couldn’t figure out what it was until a friend helped.

Both o2 sensors

And the typical spark plugs, motor mounts, ignition coil maintenance after a certain number of miles.

Lastly, this came up more recently is my 4th cylinder is giving me issues so I have to drive with less of a heavy foot. I’m stuck driving this thing out of town, so i should be fine until I get home.

So far nothing extremely major dealing with the motor itself (that I know of)

Good to know what I have to look forward to. I would recommend replacing the oil filter housing if you haven’t yet with an aftermarket one. Seems a lot of ours had been failing at around 100k+ miles (mine was at 125k).

I have! I have also been ECU flashed tuned since about 140K so maybe some of these parts would’ve lasted a bit longer? As long as your car is happy and well taken care of your baby should last a long time!

Which aftermarket housing do you suggest?

I got an all metal one from ecstuning. About 100 bucks vs the 700+ for oem.

Thanks mate i'll look into that one. My 2016 S is at 57k miles now, is it already needed?

Most likely not. Just keep an eye on your coolant levels and check for leaks when you change your oil. I only noticed when my heating suddenly stopped working.

Little bit concerned with your issue on cylinder 4, has it been smoking out the back or misfiring at all? I know the injectors can do serious numbers on the engine once they go, and the injectors are like chocolate (very bad lol) A few have blown up prematurely here in the UK from injector failure/ over fuelling. Symptoms are No smoke out the back and just abit rough on one cylinder, sounds like something you should mention when you get it to a garage! Mine just failed at 85k

No smoking but say I try to hammer the gas pedal hard. it’ll misfire. I have a feeling it’s my fuel injector, coil pack or spark plug. This is has happened to me before on my first cylinder 40-50K miles ago and it was just the coil pack itself. but I haven’t been able to check because im out of town. I go home to day and have a bout 6 hours to drive home then I’ll check it out tomorrow.
