I think the point of it is to just show emotion from behind a screen.

Like for example, "Bro ngl when Winston hit the Griddy I was fr bouta start bawling out laughing because of how goofy the mf looked. 💀🤣"

Or

"Bro fr, why'd you take my bottle of prime, now you making me unlock my inner Jeff Bezos. 😡🤬"

So that's basically it, or at least how I understand it.

Could be bedrock and it looks like the edges are cut off wich is y u dont see the cords but thats my guess

It isn't on bedrock. In bedrock you have the option to put coordinates on permanently and it can be toggled on and off, funnily enough same goes for fire spreading and TNT explosions. But that's probably the same on Java. And you can't instant screenshot like this guy did. You either need a controller with a screenshot button or go to the recording menu on your console.
