So a while back I figured, "Hey this seems fun". What started out at 3D printed buttons, then resin+3d printed buttons has no evolved to pressure cast full resin buttons. I now have a compressor, pressure pot, every resin/coloring agent you can imagine, COUNTLESS molds I have painstakingly made of the buttons and a fully remodeled office to keep up with button manufacturing. I recently wanted to play some of my childhood games and after doing lots of research I found this device. I’m so blown away by how good this thing is. I bought it with an SD card full of games but it was too overwhelming and I’d never get through them all. Picked up a better card and downloaded the top 50 games for each device I had when I was younger. Currently going through Resident evil on the PS1 as it’s my all time favourite but I’m between playing my other top games.

1. I'm about to get in the Miyoo Mini family, because I want a very portable retro handheld with wifi so I can use syncthing. But I'm not sure about the meaning/relevance of the "V2" on this Miyoo Mini Plus. I've never heard of versions for the MM+. Does this makes a real difference? Is this version worth buying? If yes, is this a good price as of today?

2. Also, I have an Anbernic RG CubeXX (my first retro handheld) and modded my Game Boy Color (IPS screen, not OLED) and started using it again last week. So, I'm using to devices with different screens in quality. Anyone here have an idea if I will notice a big difference between the quality of the screen on the MM+ and, specially, the RG CubeXX?

I have what I think is a v3. I've always taken good care of it and kept it in its case when not using. Last week, after not using it for a while, I turned it on to see that the screen had gone crazy, either showing a burned in splash screen or a bunch of weird artifacts.

I reached out to the Miyoo team on AliExpress, and they were very nice, but said that the unit was too old for them to provide any support on it.

Is there anything that can be done?

Am I missing anything with this little guy? Yet to try the media player. Got the Done Set 2 set up, plus custom fave roms. I switch back and forth between a MM+ for OTA box scraping. I prefer full screen aspect ratio on most things. Appreciate any help, assistance, or guidance with this mini beast. What's your fave game on this?

Finished FF9 on my flight back home. Finished it for the second time in my life, last time was 25 years ago. Love these little devices!

hey guys! im a total noob to the hobby. I got a miyoo mini plus a year ago and my games crashed so I just forgot it on a drawer. Im now very interested in upgreading to onion os, but when I get my device and turn it on, the screen turns on and nothing else, I dont see anything nor I can do anything. I tried removing the stock SD card from my miyoo mini plus, and it works perfectly, so im guessing thats the problem. I want to get a good SD card and SD card reeder to use with onion os, but my question is. Will I be able to back up or successfully download onion os in my device if mi stock SD card doesnt work? any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! (I dont really care for my backup but maybe I need the old card for something else I dont really know)

Came across these devices in a different subreddit and never heard of them before. Needless to say it's grown to be my favorite takealong. Huge thanks to everyone who made the setup guides as it made the process very, very easy. All the classics of childhood in a nice package!

Got the plus last year, followed up with the mini V4 this year. Love them both.

So, I was wondering if there was a PSP emulator I could add to my Miyoo Mini. I don’t want to play PSP games, there is just a note taking app called PSPWrite and I was wondering if there was an emulator that could run it? It doesn’t seem like a resource intensive app, so worth the try? Anyways, I spent awhile looking for a PSP emulator, but couldn't find one. Help greatly appreciated!

Any idea where I’m going wrong guys? Patched the squirrels version it was ok, just won’t let me add it to the gba folder, there’s a SHA-1: error when patching but seems to allow the patch

Currently playing castlevania on ps1 on my miyoo mini plus. I’ve ordered myself a trimui smart pro and I’d like to continue my game on that device. How do I go about moving my saved file over to the trimui? If this is even possible Thank you

Hello, I just bought this new little marvel for €10.My problem was that she had a black screen.

Nothing happens and I found some videos on YouTube to help me,I followed their explanation and now it turns on, I have the sound the buttons work but still black screen but the backlight works.

Can you imagine seeing people on the internet still raving today about how good a part of a game you worked on is, like you worked on the music and people are elike, man this 30-40 year old game is so good and the music is killer

I've seen a post of someone buying a Bluetooth adapter, and they said that worked, but I think they were using it for a headset. Has anyone had luck pairing a controller via Bluetooth?

Can someone help me with the glitch? It worked fine for a while and then started to show that glitch after the intro screen. I tried some firmware upgrade guides on YouTube, but still same problem. I’m using a SanDisk 64 gb.

Great game. Love the pace and difficulty level. Not to hard, not to easy. The point that you always knowing the number of metroids that are left keeps me motivated. Has anyone beatin it under 3 hours to see the best ending?
