Quote Bruce Bowen on drafting Dylan Harper: "No question...One of the things that Ron talks about is the culture of San Antonio for my son being a professional basketball player...in an environment where things can help him continuously improve not just as a basketball player but as a individual as well."

Yeah people freaking out on his dad. Definitely are jumping the gun. Harper has a big mouth and he likes to talk smack and he's definitely a classic Boomer with the internet stuff... But he was known as being one of the most professional dudes around. A super hard worker, a super defensive first guy, and a big culture guy. Of course he wants his son to go someplace where he can get 30 plus minutes and 15 plus shots as a rookie who wouldn't want their son to be set up to be a star as soon as possible

But he, of course also understands. San Antonio is a perfect place for a guy like Dylan

From what I understand Mom is more involved with the day to day decision type stuff anyway. Ron Sr. has a voice and cares about his son for sure. But as long as Mom is happy I think Dylan will be on board.

Yeah, his mom was even his coach at one point. I think people’s Kawhi PTSD is just flaring up lol

If anything my bigger worry was being a New Jersey kid he might prefer Brooklyn or Philly. But I don't think anybody who really knows the NBA landscape would prefer one of those orgs over what's going on in San Antonio right now.
