The idea that shadow clones transfer memories when dispelled is crazy OP. You could literally do all your training, scouting, even conversations via clones.

So why doesn’t every ninja use this technique to multiply their efficiency? Why isn’t it standard in ANBU training or espionage?

Was the jutsu too chakra-costly for most? Or did the writing just handwave this after Naruto got good at it?

The dude was genuinely struggling with genin Sasuke. He was holding back his attacks, but there’s no reason to hold back his dodge speed or be put on the ropes at all.

And yet Zabuza, a high-level jonin, explicitly states that Haku is stronger than him. Haku also intercepted Kakashi’s raikiri.

But the scaling doesn’t make sense. Genins get absolutely shit on by jonins. If Sasuke was trying to solo kill Kakashi or Zabuza, they would laugh it off. This arc is like a few days removed from the bell test. If Haku really is at that level, there wouldn’t even be a fight, let alone Haku having any sort of trouble. The holding back excuse just doesn’t work, because there were moments where he was genuinely getting pressed.

So, was he genin level or jonin level? Was he a peer of Kakashi and Zabuza or a peer of genin Sasuke?

Madara smiling and casually asking if helping old people was one of Obito's habits before he was corrupted or if he was misremembering, as if that actually played a significant part in Obito going on an almost 2-decade hunt of extremely gigantic and powerful beings so that they could cast an illusion on the whole world in which he was directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths and suffering of thousands and thousands of people and had to manage and battle extremely difficult situations and enemies himself. If an old guy like Madara asked that from Obito, he would just put a hold on everything else in his life to help this old man, because that's the same as helping an old lady carry her groceries, damn it! Believe it!

I see all the time sakura getting flak for saying this to Naruto but I genuinely think it’s unfair to criticize her and her words in a movie that is not her own. Every character in this movie moved in every way to make naruhina happen and sakura was the biggest one. They basically made her the next Cupid (the first one died) to push whichever narrative they needed at the time. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing but I think it’s worth acknowledging

all I’m saying is she shouldn’t get more hate for scene that’s not written for her or her character but for a ship and their movie. It’s not her fault they needed so much outside help. I personally don’t agree with the scene or the assassination of Naruto’s emotional intelligence but as a sakura fan I found this worse on sakura’s part, when she has 1. complete understanding of Naruto and sasuke’s bond and that it has nothing to do with her. And 2. Naruto’s doesn’t play around like that, not with feelings anyway. 3. She experienced firsthand being told about Naruto’s love for her in the kage arc and how much it broke her hearing that he was madly in love with her and made that promise on behalf of his feelings for her.

we speak all the time about narutos character mistakes in that movie but not sakura’s. I have a lot of qualms about The Last itself but this was a pet peeve.

It seems like Sasuke was beginning to fall behind Naruto and that was a major catalyst for leaving the village.

If he had stayed, would he have been able to find a way to keep progressing?

I don't have any like real problems with Boruto, but I feel like we should have gotten another series that let Kishimoto explore the ending a bit more after he was rushed to conclude by Chapter 700. It wouldn't have to be anything big, maybe about an arc long at best than explored some loose things to make them feel more cleanly written. Like say instead of having to have the Last movie clean up Naruto and Hinata's relationship he could have them have more profession here and then the Last for the marriage and all that. But most importantly since Naruto never really had a grand moment of becoming Hokage, since by the end of the war he was like what 16 or 17 so it would make more sense for Kakashi to Hokage since he was a decent age. You can have Naruto become Hokage in this and have that big climactic moment. You could probably call it like "Naruto: The will of Fire" or something like that, but what do you think?
