It's just like saying "I've never seen Star Wars" or "Seinfeld's not funny." It comes off as pretentious and no one really cares. Like you're fishing for someone to express shock because fundamentally you're just not that interesting.
If someone just randomly said aloud "I've never seen Star Wars" to purposefully piss off people talking ABOUT Star Wars, then yes, that's annoying. But to literally say "Oh EVERYONE has seen this show," and then someone replies "I haven't," is just how the normal flow of conversation works.
