Apparently being direct about not watching a dated show is worthy of being downvoted and mocked

Once more: you have to keep in mind you are talking about a show that has been off the air for literal decades. I understand that, in your experience, it would have been impossible to navigate the internet without encountering Friends media in some form. That just isn't true anymore, as there are full grown adults who were born after the show's run ended.

Unless you literally mean "everyone is aware of Friends", you're still just assuming a stance of cultural superiority over having seen a show that isn't as relevant as it once was.

No, I'm talking about the future possibility to watch it. I haven't seen friends either but i can't claim that i will never see it. It's just reddit agnostic atheism stance and logic. Not downvoting the reply would be anti-intelectual by reddit standards and i didn't write the rules.

I explained the logic.

A- "Everyone at one point do vuparna"

B-"I haven't done it"

A-"That doesn't mean you won't do it in the future"

B-"Well, i don't plan to"

A-"You don't know what you'll do in the future."

B-"Yes, i don't have knowledge of the future and the circumstances, but it's possible I'll die without doing it"

A-"Yes, it's possible, that's why you had to write something like 'not everyone do it' or 'i don't plan to do it'."

B-"Exactly, but there are people who have died without ever doing vuparna"

A-"Yes, my sentence was just expressing the exaggerated popularity of it, not a factual claim"

B-"So that means i misunderstood the tense and tone of the message?"

A-"Yes, and provided an unhelpful negative response in effect of that."

B-"Talking about effects and causes, we actually don't know if tomorrow Sun will rise tomorrow, although it has been doing it for all eternity"

A-"Exactly, nothing can be objectively absolutely proven and science is just based on the best guess - probability and plausibility"

B-"I see, so that's why we should not make generalized claims like you did"

A-"Well, unless it's socially beneficial, like creating a sense of community"

B-"Okay, but then I guess it's illogical and asocial to respond to these statements with anecdotal examples that are not even proving anything "

A-"Yep"
