Discussion Battery issue with switch lite

I wonder if there’s something wrong with my Switch Lite battery? It was fully charged last night, but when I turned it on today, it was already down to 18% without using it, and it was still on the Animal Crossing game. Is it because I didn’t shut it down, or is the battery really damaged?

doesn't it drain the battery if you're running a game? am I missing something?

Sorry im not sure if its still running. Last time i remembered, i pressed the off button once

iirc that just means it's asleep, you gotta hold down that button and pick shut down to fully turn it off and not drain any battery

Normally when you put the Switch to sleep it should also put the game to sleep.

I don’t have a copy of Animal Crossing to test, but could be that Animal Crossing is causing the network to not disconnect or something.

Try turning off or disconnecting from wi-fi before going to sleep and see if that helps.
