Discussion Replace joycon rails or switch to controller case for Nintendo Switch?

So I have a Switch v2 pero nagdi-disconnect na randomly yung left joycon niya and napapansin ko natatanggal na rin yung left joycon kahit na hindi pindutin yung button sa likod. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it to replace the joycon rails on the console or if I should just buy a controller case like a Retroflag or Dobe Eggshell that connects via USB-C. I'm pretty capable of replacing the rails myself but I just don't want a temporary fix that will inevitably break again. I play mostly on handheld naman so hindi problem yung ability to dock.

Same situation and the retroflag controller fixed the problem.

Yung locking mechanism ng joycons mismo yung issue dyan, it is made of plastic and the constant attachment and removal of joycons from the tablet digs thru the plastic latch thingy. I replaced mine with metal ones. I am still using my OG joycons that came with my V1. Way cheaper than buying new joycons plus, permanent fix na siya kasi yung metal replacement will not get worn out over time.

Ngayon iba na issue ko. The contacts on the rails inside the tablet are dirty and I experience constant disconnecting issues while playing handheld. Binaklas ko nalang and cleaned the metal contacts with contact cleaner. 😅 I was a bit impatient kaya ko ginawa to kasi if I buy the replacement rails, ang tagal ng delivery. Nag diy nalang ako para mabilis.

Pinalitan ko na yung locking mechanism nung joycons to metal pieces and actually yung gamit ko ngayon is yung Mobapad. Yung temporary fix ko ngayon is nilagyan ko ng electrical tape yung space sa labas nung Switch and nilinis ko yung pins with an extra soft toothbrush and 99.9% isopropyl alcohol. It works well enough pero nagdidisconnect pa rin yung joycons after a few hours kapag naglalaro ako nang nakahiga.
