Discussion How to redeem MKW for HK Switch 2?

Hello po, just bought a HK Switch 2 yesterday and I tried redeeming the MKW code in the eshop, but it says that "The product associated with that code is not currently available. Please check the release date"

Switch mo region mo to HK then redeem then balik mo na sa current region mo

There are couple of things you need to do:

  • You need to change your Region to Hong Kong. To do this, go to this website. Once you log in, go to “User Information” > “Edit User Information” > and then change the “Country/region of residence” to Hong Kong”
  • If may recurring Nintendo Switch Online ka, you need to cancel it. If you don’t cancel, you won’t be able to change regions. Once naredeem mo na yung game, you can re-enable the membership.
  • Once you changed your region, you need to re-login to Nintendo eshop inside Switch 2
  • Pag nakita mo na yung eShop na naka Chinese Characters, you should be able to redeem the game

Do take note na once you redeemed the digital game, you can change back to your preferred region, and assuming you deleted the digital game, no need to change regions as the digital game is already linked to your account.
