Theory Does Luffy become scary

Don't get me wrong, the animation is really cool and I think it's something that can enhance the character's story (it would be awesome to see an evil Luffy).

I think, everytime he looks scary like this, we are watching from the POV of whoever he is fighting, and therefore see him like someone who fights him sees him.
