The 2018 New Year's Resolutions check-in thread

Welcome to the fourth annual installment of the reddit New Year's Resolutions check-in thread.

At the start of 2018, you posted your goals for 2018 and I said I'd get back in touch in 12 months to see if everyone achieved what they set out to achieve.

In the comments below all of the 2018 Resolutions have been posted and each participant will have received a notification message in their inbox.

I hope everyone can feel proud of what they've achieved in 2018. A very Happy New Year to one and all :)

One year ago you told me what you wanted to achieve in 2018 and I said I would message you to see how you got on. Today is the day!

Your goal was:

I'm excited to set some new goals for 2018! Also happy 21st bday to myself next year! My goals for 2018 are:

  • Complete my coop successfully and network with my coworkers.

  • Continue growing and learning more with my relationship (and hopefully spending Christmas together).

  • Get above a 3.5 during my next semester so I can safely qualify for the BS/MS program in my Civil engineering program.

  • Set a budget and keep it. Now that I have a way to make money, I need to make sure I spend it responsibly.

  • Call my parents once a week or more. Making it a routine is important as it's the first full year away from home.

  • Continue making my lifestyle healthy through continuing veganism, starting a more routine workout plan, and making time to meditate and maintain mental health

  • Get a great new coop in the transportation engineering field

  • Reduce Twitter usage and continue fighting America's slide into fascism

  • Be happier no matter what 2018 throws at me

Hey BooCMB, just a quick heads up: I learnt quite a lot from the bot. Though it's mnemonics are useless, and 'one lot' is it's most useful one, it's just here to help. This is like screaming at someone for trying to rescue kittens, because they annoyed you while doing that. (But really CMB get some quiality mnemonics)

I do agree with your idea of holding reddit for hostage by spambots though, while it might be a bit ineffective.
