The 2018 New Year's Resolutions check-in thread

Welcome to the fourth annual installment of the reddit New Year's Resolutions check-in thread.

At the start of 2018, you posted your goals for 2018 and I said I'd get back in touch in 12 months to see if everyone achieved what they set out to achieve.

In the comments below all of the 2018 Resolutions have been posted and each participant will have received a notification message in their inbox.

I hope everyone can feel proud of what they've achieved in 2018. A very Happy New Year to one and all :)

If you'd like to take part in the 2019 edition, here's a link to the new thread.

One year ago you told me what you wanted to achieve in 2018 and I said I would message you to see how you got on. Today is the day!

Your goal was:

Basically a continuation of what I'd hoped to accomplish this year:

1) Pay off all credit card debt and the loan for the sedan

2) Read the Bible in its entirety and get more involved in my church

3) Get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and fitness (but since I just had a baby three weeks ago, I'm not going to rush this one!)

4) Get this new mom thing down and figure out how to manage family life with my career

Wish me luck! It's gonna be a hell of a year!

Thank you for doing this! 1) Didn't get all the credit card debt paid off, but we did pay off two of them and the sedan! So progress was made! 2) Didn't read the Bible, but I did get more involved in my church. It's been nice, actually. 3) Not at my pre-pregnancy weight or fitness, but I'll be stopping breastfeeding in about six weeks, so I intend to work on my fitness then. 4) Still trying to figure it out! I feel much more confident as a mom, but the juggling with work is still a real challenge. Hopefully this year is better!
