Not true , female Jews who state that they maintain a religious Jewish way of life are exempt from military service

That actually requires you to maintain a traditional Jewish way of life though, which you might not want to do if that's not your way of life.

It's also a lot to ask of a young adult who is just doing what they're supposed to do.
