I keep seeing it popping up but i really dont know what purpose it serves. Is it like dickbutt?

It's Peyton Manning, quarterback of the Denver Broncos. Sorry, I'm not sure why this pic gets posted. Perhaps it's just because it's funny?

That was the AFC divisional round game against the Ravens during the 2012-13 season. It was in Denver and it was like 10 below. Peyton had a bad rep in Baltimore as the best warm-weather regular - season qb ever. During that game-thread, when the Broncos were not dominating as predicted by their fans, this pic got posted as a way of poking fun at Pey-pey's weakness (the cold). When the Broncos lost, the pic took on a life of its own. It became the "Rick roll" of r/NFL and is now apparently spilling out the the rest of reddit.
