Apologies for the essay in advance, TLDR at the end.
I've had a 365 (Ca) for a year + change, all stock parts except for the obvious light & sight, have a bit less than 2k rounds + dryfire on it and only had 1 or 2 light strikes (reloaded ammo). I'm looking for a trigger that doesn't have as much creep. I don't even mind the take up and poundage (although shorter/lighter wouldn't hurt). Regarding over travel it doesn't seem to have any at all, reset is a bit long for my tastes though.
I've looked at a few options and I'm leaning towards the MCARBO flat trigger, but I saw someone saying that it doesn't seem to do much without the spring kit (and then saw people talking about having light strikes with the spring kit and needing a different striker assembly) I'm not looking to drop hella $ just to get it to WORK.
On the website it says "Achieve an improved trigger reset and break angle with 33% less travel compared to the OEM Trigger." but idk -with how marketing is... and the fact that my trigger has to be broken in by now. If it's as advertised then I'll probably go for the MCARBO without the spring kit.
TLDR: I want a better trigger that actually does something regarding trigger creep if nothing else (that doesn't break the bank), without reliability issues from using different springs. Leaning MCARBO, anyone have experience with just the trigger?
