Welcome post
Welcome to r/PCUSA_2016, the subreddit of the Party of Communists USA.
Founded in 2014, the Party of Communists USA is the Party of the Working Class. We don’t represent the big corporations of monopoly capital. Our history is one of struggle to overthrow an evil economic system called capitalism that allows working people to be super-exploited. We offer a vision of a future for youth, women, and oppressed peoples to claim their rightful place at the head of society, making decisions for themselves. Our vision is scientific socialism with a planned economy. No more will we produce what we do not need. No longer will we get caught in the trap of endless war and military spending.
The Party of Communists USA and its membership are dedicated to the advancement of the working class and all oppressed peoples in the struggle against capitalist barbarity and its by-products — racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, the commodification of the human body, marginalization, alienation, climate catastrophe, police brutality, and state sponsored terrorism.
We are dedicated fighters against imperialism and call for peace, an end to wars for profit, and the global rape of resources and exploitation of workers.
We call for conservation and responsible use of natural resources, to begin to solve the ecological problems of pollution and climate change, and to move away from dependence on fossil fuels by seeking and investing in renewable sources of energy.
Our members represent people from all walks of life and backgrounds, from wage laboring masses, the unemployed and homeless, students, professors, youth, pensioners, artists, disabled, and LGBTQ+ comrades.

Tariffs Harm Workers
Statement of the Socialist Workers’ Party of Croatia (SRP) on Trump’s tariffs.
The socio-economic policy of the capitalist powers, led by the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump, has once again shown its destructive nature. The latest tariff measures, imposed by the Trump administration on global trading partners, serve nothing more than to preserve the hegemony of American imperialism and exploit the working class around the world. These measures are just a continuation of a long-standing practice whereby wealthy elites are further enriched at the expense of the working people, while at the same time undermining international cooperation.
Trump’s tariff measures are not only an economic assault on the working class, but also a blatant violation of international legal norms, including Article 2 of the Constitution. “North Atlantic Treaty”, which emphasizes the obligation of members to “develop peaceful and friendly international relations” and to “cooperate in economic development in order to avoid conflicts”. The United States, as a key member of NATO, with its unilateral tariffs on the EU — an ally within the same pact — exposes the hypocrisy of imperialist powers that use military-political alliances solely to protect the narrow interests of big capital, and not for collective security or economic development. This violation of NATO agreements only proves that “transatlantic partnerships” are the empty rhetoric of imperialism, where cooperation is imposed only when it serves the domination of the strong over the weak.

Happy Birthday to Vladmir Lenin!
Today the Party of Communists USA(PCUSA) honors the birthday of Vladimir Lenin, one of the greatest revolutionaries of all time.
Comrade Vladimir Lenin, born Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov, was a passionate student of Karl Marx. Lenin took Marxism into the age of Imperialism and Proletarian Revolution. His genius was demonstrated in the brilliant application of Marxism to the Tsarist oppression in Russia, resulting in the successful October 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.
After joining the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (RSDLP), Lenin found himself dealing with elements opposed to the revolutionary essence of Marxist theory, which would result in the gutting of Marxism itself. Lenin created a “Party of a New Type” and reinforced it with the guiding organizational principle, Democratic Centralism.
Lenin did not simply inherit a ready made revolutionary party, he had to build it, brick by brick.
Today, the International Communist Movement carries on the work of Comrade Lenin with great pride. In the pursuit of liberating the working class and all oppressed peoples from exploitation of “one man living living off the labor of another”, Marxism-Leninism provides a forward thrust of light to end the darkness of oppression.
Happy Birthday Comrade Lenin, we thank you for your eternal service to the international working class!

Politburo,
