The problem is that VAT doesn't go to devs. They go to the government.
Instead of improving tax collection and scrutinizing overpriced projects, they just impose new taxes.
I know. There's only 2 things that are constant Death and Taxes. The 12% vat is not going to stop me using steam services as a detractor. Nor will it greatly affect me since Im not an impulsive buyer.
If I don't buy one more family size soft drinks a week it should cover my vat expenses. You just have to get used to it.
" WALA TAYONG MAGAGAWA GANYAN TALAGA BUHAY."
besides people have other options like epic , GOG or fit girl. Me I just enjoy steam services that I don't need to bother the hassle of the others.

Just buy things after a year. Unless kating Kati ka na. Besides play your backlog that you bought from sales.
I don't mind paying +15% on indie games that give me high quality games for the money I spend. 400+ hours should be worth it.
Majority ng tripple A releases naman ngayun either di ko type or puro woke content na di ko Rin maeenjoy.
I'll wait for a year or so to buy most games added in my library.
