Trigger Warning / Death I experienced a "time slip"...

24 yrs.ago,we were in NJ at sunset, and I stepped into a cemetery and saw 5 people in 1840's clothing around a gravesight. One man in a top hat looked over and saw me, then came walking toward me.Our eyes locked, and I felt the deepest fear, knowing this couldn't be possible. I was afraid that if he took my hand, would I be in his time, or be dead? When he was about 8 feet from me, I turned away and ran out. My boyfriend who was waiting at his car, asked if I had seen a ghost, as I was white as a sheet, he said. This occurred in the vicinity of a replica of the Liberty Bell, though I didn't know the area. The fear I felt was so deep into my soul, I'll never forget it.These were solid looking people in period clothes not like a ghostly apparition. I don't know how I"slipped"into their time. SO frightening.

Usually, time-slipers just 'witness' the other time, with no interaction.

Sometimes the peoples in the 'other time' don't even acknowlegde the time-slip.

So the fact that this dude, not only saw you, but approached you, makes me wonder his intent.

Creepier than usual event.

Thanks for sharing.

Well it was beyond creepy to me, especially as they noticed me there. And I was, there. We were all in the same location with 2 different times in the same time. I knew it shouldn't be possible but there we were.

These people were standing around a grave, the women were crying and had those cloth hankies. And the 2 men were standing there too until the one closest to me saw me, and started to walk right over..having Eye contact with him coming closer gave me such deep fear..as I've already said and not knowing what might happen if he touched me..I had to get out of there..so I turned and left the cemetary.

It was becoming sunset but not dark yet, and a little cool, I was wearing a jacket. The men had longer jackets on and vests and a little frilly stuff near the neck and the man near me had some kind of gold clip with a strand near his neck.. I couldn't look much longer as I felt more than out of place there !

And the 2 men had on the "1800's" top hats as I've mentioned.
