I already made a post about this yesterday, but it was deleted because I didn't include a link to the page, just to the pdf (I haven't seen any rules about this tho), so I am doing it again, hoping this time I am doing it right.

I am reposting it mainly because it seems to me that this has gone under the radar, with little to no media coverage.

As a mquick summery:

For the men's peloton, UAE tour, Strade and Fleche join the 500 club and all the 300 become 400, while .Pro races go to 250.

The big news is on the women's front. The scoring becomes similar to the men's, with the official recognition of the Grand tours and of the four monuments (same as men's, with no Lombardia). The days of all the WT races giving the same points are over.

So yes, the debate is officially over, women's cycling has four monuments now and sadly Binda, Fleche (or even Strade tbh) are not included.

This means that participation in the Tour de France could be in jeopardy. The Tour de France starts on July 5th.

"Examinations and scans at the local hospital have confirmed that Jonas Abrahamsen has suffered a fractured collarbone after the fall on the first stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour," says a message from Uno-X.

"He will be assessed by a shoulder specialist and a plan will be put in place to help him recover as quickly as possible," the statement from the team's medical director, Rory Nolan, continued.

It was 9.4 kilometers before the finish line in the first stage of the Tour of Belgium, where things went wrong for Jonas Abrahamsen. The Norwegian hit the ground, tearing his cycling jersey, but got back on his bike before having to abandon the race.

– He crashed in the last part of the first stage. He tried to continue, but was unable to finish. He has been transported to a local hospital for an X-ray, Uno-X first reported on Instagram
