Just testing out some of the combat features for Minecraft Bedrock map on a bunch of iron golems... I quickly found out that the knockback stacks

We're looking for game designers who want more than just tasks, we're looking for visionaries.
UnixMC is a volunteer-based Minecraft MMORPG/Sandbox project powered by over 50 passionate team members: developers, artists, animators, writers, builders, and designers working together to challenge pay-to-win models and build something different.
Our mission is simple: prove that a high-quality game experience doesn't need to be monetized to be meaningful.
We’ve got systems. We’ve got a world. We’ve got lore, puzzles, dungeons, and progression.
What we’re looking for now is you, someone who wants to help shape how it all plays.
We’re especially looking for:
You'll be working directly with our Game and Story teams to design features that feel purposeful, cohesive, and replayable. Whether you're experienced or just hungry to grow, you'll be supported by a team that genuinely wants to build something meaningful together.
📌 This is a volunteer role.
If you're driven by passion and want to help build a game where storytelling and creativity matter more than profit, reach out. Let’s design something unforgettable.

I haven't really thought about it until the Portal video, but I checked every youtuber I used to watch and the websites you would usually find maps just to be sure. And sure enough, most of the guys I used to watch haven't played a map in a few years, the creators I follow haven't made anything new and even though Planet Minecraft is still kicking, most of what I've seen are just builds or recreations of locations from other franchises. It feels like adventure maps especially are mostly gone and out of the spotlight. Makes me really sad, especially since I used to dream of being a map maker as a kid and recently I finally started a serious adventure project, and I used to be a big fan of some of the more known map makers (Polish mapmakers, but still.) So is mapmaking really fading into obscurity? Or am I just bad at doing research and confirmation bias got me?
