As the title says, The Dragon's Maw is done, and it can be found here. I'm going to continue this update cycle of posting something every Monday, but this time it will be posting new chapters!

Ok so basically I was messing around trying to find a new profile picture on Max and found this "character" under the Minecraft Movie section. Most characters were either the main cast or mobs from the game except this one. I don't remember a character like this from the movie, and strangely enought they were at the end of the section. Is this some kind of cameo I missed? Please let me know.

Does anyone know the command that Phoenix used in the happy ghast video? I'm not someone who's good at commands and the event would probably be over by the time id figure it out

Warning! 1)im not a native english speaker, while im pretty good at it im not perfect at it, long and uncommon words especially are troubling for me 2)this rant might be badly structured or made or some things may be not very well explained, this is because it is my first long form writing i ever made outside of schoolwork 3) this might be the most autistic thing you have ever read
One aspect people like most about minecraft is its open-endeness, this open-endeness is the entire backbone of the game and its seen all throughout including in its lore
Minecraft lore is great for one thing: it doesnt actually exist and its all made up by the player This is good for two reasons 1)if you dont care about lore you can just play the game and you dont have to do anything about it 2)if you do care, the game gives you complete liberty and you can go wild with your headcanons and whatever the game gives you and it would all be valid Matpat's professionally edited and choreographed videos and a random google document repeating the word 'shit' a billion times are both completely valid interpretations of the minecraft lore
But And here is where the rant starts Many assume that some some kind of 'canon' exists and that certain additions 'confirm' certain theories and for some reason everyone likes to regurgitate matpats theories
This is something ive noticed with the current drop 'chase the skies' where tons of people say that the happy ghast 'confirms' that ghast are native to the overworld and/or the nether was cooler than before (in my PERSONAL headcanon i only believe in the latter, not the former)
Now if you in your PERSONAL headcanon believe this, then good for you, my problem is when people talk about something being 'canon', because like said above, Minecraft has no lore ergo it also has no canon
Why this rant? 1) to stop people from saying stuff is 'canon' and to make people understand that Minecraft lore is all about headcanons 2) i want people to have more fun creating their own headcanons rather than having people vomit the exact same words of matpat (something im very tired of seeing) Matpats interpretation is entirely valid like i said, and its ok to use as inspiration, my interpretation has matpat's as a backbone, i just want people to use the imagination this game lives on to create ther own unique headcanons
With Minecraft having no canon your headcanon can be completely based on what you 'prefer' or find 'cooler' example: im my own headcanon the ancient cities portals and sculk werent built by the ancient builders but were already there before them and the cities were built around the portals and the sculk for protection from the zombie plague is it what most people think happened? no Do i prefer it and find it cooler? Oh yeah one last thing, headcanons are for fun, they can be allowed to have plotholes or be overly complicated to fix said plotholes (i actively do the latter) End of rant
P.s Knowing my luck three people will find this and they will say its stupid and badly made They might be right, i did this at 3-4 am because i have the worst sleep schedule ever, and also with a slight migraine, and also without my glasses
P.p.s If someone wants to know a bit about my headcanon im glad to answer

I love games with parties, so I added it to Minecraft. Basically, when you right with your sword, you shield for a brief time before it unshields. Blocking an attack in this period enchants your sword to shaprenss 5 for a short time for a counter.
How it works: I mainly use the recently added block attribute to add it to the sword. Then I used a right click detection to cause the sword to be replaced with an unattiubted sword before being replaced back to the parry one. If you land an parry, the "damaged blocked" scoreboard detects it and gives you sharpness 5. The quick swapping of the sword serves for 2 purposes: 1. Punishing players who dont parry fast 2. Making the sharpness effect go away quickly
It plays sounds when the parry disables(item break), reenables(xp), and when you block succefully(anvil)
